New England Style Lobster Roll

Ingredients (Serves 4):

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons chives,
  • 1 celery stalk, finely diced
  • 1lb cooked lobster meat
  • Kosher Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 split-top hot dog buns


  1. In a medium-size bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, chives, and diced celery.
  2. Gently fold in lobster meat and season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Brush the inside of the top slice buns with melted butter and place face down in the pan.  Toast bun for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Divide the lobster salad between the four buns and serve with your favorite potato chip.
